I have a 2019 Ram 3500 Laramie.
I keep getting a Battery Saver mode come up on my dash display, then 5 minutes down the road my radio shuts off? When I shut the truck off the radio comes back on? It does not make any sense to me at all? Heated seats and steering wheel still comes on?
Batteries were checked and are good. Its not cold here 0 + 10°C on average for outside temp.
The Dealer told me I dont drive far enough to keep the batteries charged properly? What? My driving habits haven't changed since I bought the truck new. why now? Its becoming more frustrating, every day now this happens on the way to work and on the way home. Radio shuts off at the exact location on my drive to and from work.
Everything the dealer checked came back good?
Also on cold mornings I get alot of cold air that comes from the center console. My right leg gets ice cold. Good thing the heated seats keeps me warm but I have thought about shoving a towel between the seat and the console to keep my leg warm. My truck also leaked water from the sun roof to the drivers grab handle. Turns out the sun roof had a crack in the glass.
I am not impressed good thing its still under warranty. I am afraid of what will go wrong when the warranty runs out.

How far are you driving it to work? Have you charged the batteries at some point to see if you still get the battery saver message afterwards?

Hi, I dont drive very far to work but I do drive 1.5hrs at least once a week out of town and back, which should be enough I would think.
The Dealership did charge the batteries the last time it was in and said they are good? But maybe they are not the best batteries.

At least one report of a bad batch of batteries, or the battery saver module.

I don't want to jinx myself, but I may have found a solution--at least for my truck. I took a closer look at the IBS sensor on the driver's side neg battery post. The wiring harness to it was pulled pretty tight, and I found where it looks like the pigtail had been cut off and a new one soldered on. I figured that could be a 'cold-solder' joint, so I cut the soldered section out and installed some heat shrink butt connectors. I rerouted the wire so it's not so tight and added some dielectric grease to the connector. I also took a wire brush to the ground wire connection points on the sensor. Knock on wood, but I haven't had the message in a few days. Fingers crossed!

Did you ever figure out the problem? I’m having the same thing happen to my 2019 3500
