Hi, so on Monday I bought a new 2500. This morning when I was about to park I got a Battery Protection Warning some features will be disabled message. The heater fan stayed on but the radio disabled and who knows what else. Anyone have this happen to them?

Do you have any accessories plugged into the USB ports or OBD connector? For example, a dash camera, portable cooler, etc? I saw this same error in my BMW, and the dealership said it was because of a dash camera that was consuming too much battery while the vehicle was off, so the battery protection kicked in.

I have nothing plugged in to any ports. I’ll have to check the batteries. With only 100 Kms on it I didn’t think I should have these problems. Thanks guys.

Happened again today. Took it to the dealer and they found 17 codes for for low battery voltage. They figured it's from all the small start/stops from moving around on the lot. Battery tested ok. They cleared the codes.. The truck has a battery tender installed and since it's going down to -25c (-13f) I'm going to plug it in tonight to make sure the battery is fully charged.
