I am looking at getting the Banks Intake Elbow kit for my '23 2500. Looks like a strait forward install, time consuming.
Anyone have any advice/reviews/opinions on this? Truck has 10K miles on it.
The little $20,000 bolt has me worried!
I am a pretty good wrench.
I am disabled to a certain degree. I'll probably either let the air out of the front tires or just remove the front wheels to lower the truck down Did this on my 2017 JKUR to replace the oil cooler a couple years ago and it sure makes it easier to work on.

Your grid heater bolt will be fine. You have a 2023 I would not worry till you put over 100,000 miles on the truck. IMO it’s a waste of money, and had a friend destroy his engine ( hydraulic lifters) and had to spend thousands in lawer fees because they did not want to warranty the work, of course blaming the bank’s system. He did finally win but lost by spending thousands to fight it

Where do you live? Cuz for me in the valley of Commiefornia where it rarely gets below freezing, the grid heater isn't doing much work and that death bolt doesn't see much current, so not much risk. I certainly don't see the value in forking over a grand+ on a Banks kit, especially when there are less expensive and equally effective kits available.
