If that doesn’t work, then you’ll just have to put the new lights on a separate switch.
“Yes” … I did need to modify the bracket slightly: the opening was a bit too snug around the lamp so I had to clearance it a bit with a utility knife and deburring reamer. Took my time so I didn’t remove too much material, but not really difficult.
If you have the Squadron SAE lights from BD, they are going to be offering a free 'upgrade' program to their Gen2 Squadrons starting this month. The next gen lights are supposed to be more suited for "road legal applications".
I ordered a set 10mins after they posted it on facebook lol. I have a Gen 1 set but didnt want to wait 6months for them to change them out. the volume of people that will be shipping back for retro is going to be a lot.
