Backup camera not displaying

I just took notice the last couple days, when I put my truck in reverse the backup camera doesn’t display on my Uconnect screen. The rear view and surround view always used to come up automatically, but it just stayed on the radio screen. The cameras all seem to work. if I click on each camera view from controls they will all display but it won’t show up automatically when I put it in reverse. Any ideas? Thanks

Also forgot to mention that I had the batteries unhooked, don’t know if that had anything to do with it. It is a 21 2500 with the 8” Uconnect4

I had that problem on my 2021. Look under the rear of the truck for the tailgate electrical wires/plugs that connect to the tailgate. Mine were located on the drivers side and ran up through the bed and fender well area. I unplugged two connections, cleaned and applied dielectric grease in the plugs and snapped them back together. Worked great, might give it a try.

Thanks, I’ll have to give that a try. It’s Strange that it just stopped working all of a sudden and hasn’t been working for days.

Same thing mine did. I think moisture gets in the plugs. Mine hasn’t acted up since I applied the dielectric grease
