Hello All,

Long story but here goes... Had (2) used Ford F250's back in the day. Loved the diesel power but they were not the most reliable. Most likely because I wasn't in control of whatever the previous owners did. Traded over to a HD Bighorn to haul my truck top camper and loved it. Used it for a few years and things changed. Moved into a bumper pull trailer and upgraded to a new to me 2015 F250 Power-stroke. I loved it and it never failed me but we eventually got rid of the trailer and I thought I would step down from a diesel and get a gas truck with lots of the new technology and comfort features. As luck would have it, the wife decided we needed a 5th wheel that was more suited to our lifestyle now that our kids had moved on to college. I found a great 5th wheel that I thought my truck could handle with a few upgrades. Over time and after towing a long haul through the Rockies.... I realized how much I missed having a diesel. Yeah, the gas is more $$ but there just is no replacement when it comes to stress free towing through the mountains.

With all of the crazy incentives and personal offers from RAM, I finally pulled the trigger. I always wanted to go back to the I6 Ram and so here I am. I got a nice new 2023 2500 Laramie nicely loaded with all of the towing technology I need. I'm glad to be back and will definitely be doing my research. I will post pictures when I get them but I just got her last night. The dealer threw in upgraded tires, running boards and a few smaller items. My first task is finding the best 35" tire for my intents and purposes. My 5th wheel is on the smaller side but I will obviously be looking for load range "E" tires. I have the Night edition so I will keep the stock 20" wheels for now. I live in the PNW so how they handle in the rain is most important. We do get the occasional snow and I like to get off-road once in awhile for different recreational opportunities. I'm thinking BFG's but not completely sure. Will look around for some answers but I am looking forward to my time here with all the Pros.

Welcome aboard. Look into falken wildpeak at3w for some tires with good grip. I haven’t read anything bad about them.
