Axle lock question

Got my new power wagon. This light is on. I assume it means the axles are locked ? Do I want this on in normal day to day driving. Pushing the button doesn't seem to do anything. Nothing in the owner's manual either. Thank you for you help.

That is axle unlocked. Look at the button. It shows an unlocked padlock.(and isn't a button at all, just the light) The buttons above are axle lock, either rear or both front and rear.

So, yes you want that light lit up for daily driving and is also why it does nothing when you push it.

Pushing one of the two axle buttons above will make the light go out.
