I have a rebel PW with the 360 camera systems and 12 inch screen. It has two aux camera buttons that show a blue screen if I click on them. Where would I plug a camera in and what are they for? Thanks.

I don’t have the digital mirror and am now more confused than before. It may be my ADHD. Hold, saw a squirrel

AUX on the UConnect are the 12-pin connection cameras. The plug on the passenger side of the license plate with the 7-pin and also in the bed if you have the GN prep.

On the newer trucks with 360 cams, this generally means AUX1 is actually the trailer surround kit/system. AUX2 is a single analog. You can build an AUX2 only setup using the Ford 12-pin cable lead and a custom wiring to a camera of your choice.

The digital tow mode camera if a coax/fakra connection on the driver side of the license plate that feeds to the DRVM.

I don't have the digital camera and just took pics of the rear as I got to work. No plug on the left but there are 2 on the right.

You will only get the plug on the right if you have the digital camera option. My previous 2022 truck had it and I had installed the camera trailer camera. It was a nice option, kind of wish i had gotten it on the 2024.

The AUX cameras you see I believe are if you add additional OEM cameras to the system such as an interior trailer camera(like on an enclosed car trailer). Otherwise they are use less since they cant be used with anything after market.

I have two plugs on the right and none on the left. I meant to say I don't have the digital camera mirror. I have surround, and no adaptive cruise. If that makes a difference. I was just wondering what is and where does the aux 1 and aux 2 go.

You have this all mixed up.

You really should review the sticky I linked.

Left of the plate is a coax/fakra that is digital and connected to the DRVM. 22 and 23+ are not even interchangeable as RAM changed OEMs.

Right of the plate is AUX cams that display on the radio.

19-21 has Analog AUX1 and AUX2.

22 added trailer surround to AUX1, AUX2 was still a single analog camera connection.

ANY aftermarket analog camera can be custom wired to work on the analog AUX connections. I have one on my 2020 AUX1. The Mopar analog cameras are crap but they could be used by any analog system.
