AutoPark needs to go away!

Easy fix... all you need to do is make a jumper wire with two spade terminals. Plug it into the seat belt plug located under the driver's seat after unhooking the plug going to the seat belt.

Did this with both my 07 and 22 ram. The 07 was to get rid of the seat belt chime. The 22 obviously to disable auto park.

Seat belt chime can be easily disabled.

So…going through a car wash in neutral, get to the end and trying to shift into drive. I experience the same auto park but, I am belted in and doors closed. I’m avoiding car washes until I figure out what I’m doing wrong. I’ve been inches from causing a pileup in a car wash because I need to shut off the truck and restart.lol

I go through one of those type of car washes every single day that it’s not raining, and that’s never happened. I just wait until the very end when my front tires are off the track, and I just shift to drive without ever pressing the brake pedal.

Sounds like there may be a bigger issue at play that does not sound right at all

I've never experienced this in any scenario. Car wash or backing the trailer i've never had it go into autopark. In fact I never had my 1500 do it either.
