For the love of God, is there a way to either reduce the sensitivity of the light sensor or perhaps slow down the time from detection to "headlights on" ?

My lights come on (and the screen goes dim, which is the real issue here) if I so much as drive under a shady tree.

If you run the adjuster wheel for the screen/gauge brightness all the way up and then there is a tactile click to the highest setting, the screen doesn’t dim when the headlights come on.

I do that when the headlights are on for rain but it’s daytime.
