Auto park

Is there any way to delete AUTO PARK? Really inconvenient on a ranch truck. Go through to many gates where I don't get all the way in my truck.

Buy a 2500 or 3500.

You can just leave the seat belt buckled...I hear that works.

I hated it until I realized how screwed up that dial shifter is, have never screwed up RE putting things in park and such until this thing.

All you have to do is purposely make the truck auto park one time, cycle the shift knob, then auto park will be disabled for the rest of that drive cycle until the engine is shut off.

2500/3500s hemi trucks have auto part too I believe

Ya I just always think Diesel....Hemi never crosses my mind for HDs. I cant say I have honestly I have only ever seen 1 Hemi 3500 in person, just doesn't seem right! :D

The Duramax I had would automatically apply the parking brake when you were backing then went to Park if you had a trailer hooked up. Took me a few times to get use to that

I see lots of them. Lots of fleets use them for service trucks

Fleets I can see, but I don't see many "consumers" gong that route. There was a dealer here that had three 3500 DRW gassers (GMC High Country) they were having a tuff time selling. They had to discount the pretty significantly to finally move them.
