We ordered our 2022 2500 Hemi in October 2021 and picked it up when it was delivered 7 months later in April of this year. One of the offers that came with the truck was a free 3 month (3GB) trial of AT&T’s wifi hotspot in the truck.
We just activated the offer today and will be testing it for 3 months. Unfortunately, I was told by AT&T when setting up the service that the truck must either be running or in accessory mode for the hot spot to work.
That’s great of you’re using it while on the road for maps and such. It’s useless if you want to use it (for example) at your campsite to stream a movie or just to be on line generally.
We’ll continue to test it out, but unless I’m missing something, this free trial will be worth just about everything we paid for it. Does anyone who has used this have a more positive view or insights that could change my mind?
Oh - one side note, we currently have a Verizon wifi puck - the service is over $100/mo and is unlimited data. The AT&T price is $25/month - presumably for the usability concern…
