Are you seeing more Ram trucks on the road?

Over the past 3 or 4 years, I have started to look harder than I used to because of all the F150 hype about being the best. I do see a lot of fords; many have severe paint, rust or just look worn. It's almost as if they (Ford and Chevy owners) don't have the same love of their truck as Tundra or other foreign truck owners do. You can have a truck, use the heck out of it, but still wash it, you should drive it with pride. Next to a wife and a mortgage it's the most you will spend on one thing. Rams are really moving up in volume in my area. Most of the ones I have a tendency to see are models 7, 8 years and younger. Lots more than I saw a few years ago. Ram owners are special owners who adamantly love and defend their trucks, their willing to pay more for luxury, expect more and get more yet have the option to go down in price and yet STILL get a great looking truck inside and out.
I'm sure many Ram drivers scratch their heads as they go by because I ensure I give a little wave to every Ram driver. It's my way of saying "Welcome to the Elite Club"
I resent that. My 2003 silverado is rusty but still has A/C and gets me from point a to point be. Can't stop the rust on a 20 year old truck that lived its entire life in the rust belt.

Seems like I'm seeing more and more Rams around here. I've personally seen guys that I thought would never drive anything but a GM truck switch over to Ram, and not just Cummins work trucks, 1/2 tons too.

I'm a lifelong GM guy that's had many GM trucks and so far I'm really liking my 3500 CTD experience. It's only got a couple thousand miles on it but I'm optimistic. And it's already got the chairman of the board's (wife's) approval.

I've really liked my Chevy/GMC trucks, just got sick of all the problems under the hood and simply do not trust the GM corporation anymore. I got bit by the CP4 bug, that should have been a recall, then dumped a pile of money into an L5P truck that I couldn't drive across town, much less long haul trips. Good riddance to them.

My money's on Ram/Cummins now.
My family is all in on GM as long as I can remember. I am definitely bucking the trend with the purchase of my Ram 3500. So far everyone loves it, even my wife's brother who is as die hard as it gets. At first he just loved the interior but felt the exterior wasn't near as good as GM. Now after seeing it more and more he's loving the my night edition exterior. Let's hope it's reliable because if it is I will have hit a home run and made a few others think harder on their future purchases.

I am with you. Most of my family has been Chevy. I have a 2020 LT 1500 Trail Boss, before that a 2017 LT 1500, before that a 2004 LT 2500 Duramax that I sold to buy the 2017. The reason I am going to buy my first Ram 2500 is because we bought a travel trailer. I heard good things about them. IMO, It looks better than GM and Ford and if it performs well, grand slam all the way.
