Are you seeing more Ram trucks on the road?

I was on the interstate yesterday, and I don't think I've ever seen so many Ram 1 tons in a 100 mile stretch before. You would think GM and Ford didn't sell trucks here!

In my neck of the woods it is Fords and Chevys. I imagine all the Rams are at the dealership waiting for warranty work....imagine having only Land Rover being worse lol.....

To each their own. My own experience has been much better with ram. And unless something's changed, JD Power was a pretty unreliable source

It’s kinda skewed, Ram being its own brand, selling pickups. Ford and Chevy for example can have absolute POS pickups but the suv or car will carry the brand. Everybody I know with gm suv has issues but that survey says they are the cats ass.

tons of rammers in tx. lots of powerjokes. a handful of gm.. my family and most of the farm families around my county have been hard-core dodge fanbois for years and years.

now gen specific... I got my truck in june of '19 and there were zero 4.75gen hd trucks on the road around central tx. they're everywhere now.

I switched over. Always been a Ford guy. I wouldn’t piss on Ford if it was on fire, now. RAM 3500 should be ready in about a month or 2.

After being Chevy/GMC owners since conception :)....our last purchase was a 2022 RAM Laramie. So far we are really loving it. One reason we made the switch - after never considering it - was the ability to actually purchase one that wasn't only available in white. We lucked out and purchased a Granite Crystal Metallic (matches our 5th wheel colors) that was on the train in transit. We plopped the hold deposit and drove away from the dealership 2 weeks later in our new RAM truck.

And like you....we still watch the road to see what everyone is driving. Funny thing is in rural America....you will see one brand dominate in the different areas you travel, and it changes over county lines.

After ordering my Ram I now see more of them, but The Raptor is still king in my area, everyone and their Grandpa has one it seems

Seems like I'm seeing more and more Rams around here. I've personally seen guys that I thought would never drive anything but a GM truck switch over to Ram, and not just Cummins work trucks, 1/2 tons too.

I'm a lifelong GM guy that's had many GM trucks and so far I'm really liking my 3500 CTD experience. It's only got a couple thousand miles on it but I'm optimistic. And it's already got the chairman of the board's (wife's) approval.

I've really liked my Chevy/GMC trucks, just got sick of all the problems under the hood and simply do not trust the GM corporation anymore. I got bit by the CP4 bug, that should have been a recall, then dumped a pile of money into an L5P truck that I couldn't drive across town, much less long haul trips. Good riddance to them.

My money's on Ram/Cummins now.

Over the past 3 or 4 years, I have started to look harder than I used to because of all the F150 hype about being the best. I do see a lot of fords; many have severe paint, rust or just look worn. It's almost as if they (Ford and Chevy owners) don't have the same love of their truck as Tundra or other foreign truck owners do. You can have a truck, use the heck out of it, but still wash it, you should drive it with pride. Next to a wife and a mortgage it's the most you will spend on one thing. Rams are really moving up in volume in my area. Most of the ones I have a tendency to see are models 7, 8 years and younger. Lots more than I saw a few years ago. Ram owners are special owners who adamantly love and defend their trucks, their willing to pay more for luxury, expect more and get more yet have the option to go down in price and yet STILL get a great looking truck inside and out.
I'm sure many Ram drivers scratch their heads as they go by because I ensure I give a little wave to every Ram driver. It's my way of saying "Welcome to the Elite Club"

It makes sense seeing more on the road, they are the cheapest trucks out there in terms of pricing. More dealers are open to selling at or below invoice on the RAMs. From what I have seen here GM dealers stick to MSRP and the Ford dealers don't budge much unless you order. With Ford's the absolute best deal I have found on ordered trucks is 2 percent under invoice and you can get RAMs for 4 percent under rather easily if you shop around.

Build and truck quality is subjective Sono reason to debate that here. However, RAMs have the best pricing resulting in more on the road.

Depends on what part of the country you are in. I see Way more Fords and Chevy's then Rams. But when I lived in Colorado I saw my fair share of Rams, more so then here in Georgia and the south east.

In my area, the F150 is the high school boy truck of choice. The “look at me” contractors drive Ford HD’s, and most anybody who actually works their truck and tows heavy, seem to drive Ram. In the campgrounds, more Ram’s than anything else, and most of the equestrian farms here use Ram when pulling heavy.

We have towed our TT all through America as well as Canada and Newfoundland. I have seen more Rams in the campgrounds than any other brand. I often wonder why Ford F-150's are at the top of truck sales but it may be for those that don't need a real truck.:)

Seen alot of all of them around here. But seems to be a few more Rams. Or maybe it's because o own one now. But very few Power Wagons.
Drove down to San Diego recently and it's mostly Fords down in that area. I think it may be because Ford supports off road racing and the others dont.

Basic ones are fine. It’s the high end models with the electronics that **** the bed constantly. We have a base suburban that has never had a single issue. The Escalade which is the same truck with all the features just lives in the shop

As I recently saw on someones signature, "I'd rather be Cummin than Strokin" ;)
