Are Ram Seat Foams the same, vinyl vs cloth, 2021 vs 2024

I couldn’t find any information on this but I have two ram 2500s. Both are Tradesman models. The 2021 has vinyl seats the other is a 2024 with cloth seats. I did lots of upgrades to my 21 and I am going to switch all of them over to my 24, while I still have both trucks. I couldn’t find any information on this but it seems the 2021 foam feels better, soft but firmer than my 2024 foam with cloth seats. Is there a difference? I like the feel of the vinyl 2021 foam, and I’d like to keep the foam and replace the vinyl with the cloth upholstery.

Does anyone know if the seat bottom foam is different (maybe different part numbers?) Are the seat cushions different or is it in my mind? Thanks for any help.

I dont know if the part #s are different, but my ass says they are not the same.

my '22 was a base Tradesman with the vinyl seats. Very comfie
the '24, Tradesman with cloth seats, hurts my ass after about 200 miles.

Checked a 2021 tradesman VIN with vinyl seats against a 2024 tradesman VIN with cloth seats. Both use the same seat cushion part numbers:
Left- 68050461AA
Right- 68050462AA
Same cushions all the way back to 2010.

When I added ventilation bags to my seats, I noticed my original cloth covers had some cushioning foam built into them. Maybe there's a slight difference in that cushioning vs the vinyl ones? Also, do you have ventilation in one truck but not the other? I can't imagine you do since they're both tradesmen, but that would be about 1/2" of extra padding as well.

No ventilation in either, maybe it’s just the difference in vinyl vs cloth. Or maybe it’s just in my mind! Either way I am going to swap the cushions, as my 24 has dark cloth and the 60/40 rear seat that I am putting in it is leather! This means that I will have to reupholster all the seats in order to use the 60/40 rear seat, so I might as well swap the cushions with the cloth upholstery. Thanks for the reply jgoldski.
