Are 37s Practical?

For youse guys running 37s and towing gooseneck and/or 5th wheels, are your trailers modified for the additional hitch height? Are your trailers nose high by much?

Ive ran 37's on 3 RAMs all being the 6.4 Hemi. All 3 had 4.10 gears and never did I want for more power. Never had any issues. I can tell you that you wont see above 12 mpg again and ECO will be mostly gone. Dying to get my 37x22s on here the week of the 22nd because i guarantee its a whole different feel with this 8 speed.

Right?

YOLO

my biggest fear is that when I’m gone, my wife will sell all my stuff for what I told her I paid for it

Warning: The following response is the most pedantic thing you're likely to see on the internet today.

I don't tell mine diddly (we are pretty much divorced financially) and I take care of all the bills/mortgage except her car. She also pays for her student loans.

I have told here in no uncertain terms that my eldest son and the executor of the "estate" is to research market values for everything I own if any of it gets sold. This is, of course, also in my will. Between the firearms and (now reduced) vintage stereo collection alone, she would crap herself down both legs if she know how much coin I've dropped into that stuff.

Boating incident?

37s are much more practical than 40s.
It's all about relativity.

As long as the bills are paid and she has her own money, it shouldn't matter what you spend, right? My wife and I do the same thing, and we're very happy.

Joing the discussion, I have a 2019 2500 4x4 Cummins with the Carli leveling kit, track bar and stabilizer shock with 20x9 +18 with Nitto Grapplers 35 12 50s. Stock 3:73 gears I dont tow at this time, want to upgrade to Nitto Trail Grappler MT 37 12:50s will this impact the transmission for normal driving?
The 35s dont fill up the fenders my friend has these on his F250 I like how they fill up the fenders.

Anyone having Trans problems with 37s with 3:73 gears on a 19 or 20 2500 Cummins 4x4 ..getting ready to make a road trip to Texas. My 35s only have about 5k miles but like the 37 look.

Practical lol.
Is getting 12 mpg practical?
No.
Who cares?
Send it.

Truth.

Practical? No. It's a stupid idea to DD 37's and tow 15k with 3.73s. Does it look great? Sure. YOLO right? lmao

I see the gear/tire chart on page one, but that chart does not take into account the WEIGHT difference between factory 33's and 37s.

A simple 35" tire swap on my 2016 3.42 cummins 2500 turned it into a total performance turd and my mpg dropped by no less than 2mpg in all scenarios. You couldnt pay me to do that again without regearing--or even worse, add 37's. Haha, no way.

Maybe when i was 25 years old... not now.

Define turd......

Maybe in relation to the h.o. With 4:10’s or a tuned and deleted previous gen. truck but when I had that set up it dropped cruise rpm a slight amount but didn’t resemble any turds I know of. Oh, wait a minute, that’s turd, not TRD. Really tho, these are not corvettes, Or drag racers, etc. I had to pull my 5th wheel with the 17 with 35’s and 3:42 and aside from the start from a dead stop, not really an issue. Moved that 16k trailer right on down the road just fine with the factories transfarces at 33” and the 35“ridge grapplers. Not optimum, but it’s what I had. I have now upgraded and it is worlds better. No turds here.
