Post your favorite April fools pranks (with links if relevant) here.

not one you can pull on others but I still remember the best one ever pulled on me. April 1 of 1993. My wife had been having a rough pregnancy and she came home from the dr. office and I was just getting up and getting ready for work so I was half groggy and I asked how the dr appoint went and she says "promise you won't get mad?" I am thinking did she wreck the car or something and i said "I promise I won't get mad" and she says "we are having twins" i was like instantly wide awake and what and she says April fools...we still laugh about it. I fell for it hook line and sinker.

Years ago my neighbor put a sign up in front of a house on the corner that had sat vacant for some time that said “Coming Soon!! Rockford Rehab center for Prostitutes and Drug Addicts”. The township office was not amused.

My uncle played a trick on my grandmother years ago. He had someone call her and tell her he was from the phone company and to put the receiver(handset) of the phone in a plastic bag because they are going to be blowing out the phone lines. She fell for it because they went over to her place later in the day and the the whole phone was in a garbage bag on the desk.

Good friend still has his "Pig Farm Coming Soon" signs up.

He sold property to a "friend" that was going to build his forever home. Said friend sold to his son who's now putting up 3 houses. This is out where lots are generally not under 15 acres and more often are 30-45+.

These RAM Cummins trucks are terrible. I should know, I’ve bought 8 of them - 2 from every generation. I don’t recognize the 5th Gen. I mean you can’t slap on a new grill and move the badges to allow the hood to fill with water and call it a new model.
Anyway, I had a 2500 prior to this one and I ran over a moped in the Home Depot parking lot. I couldn’t see it backing up cause I had the mirrors up and I wasn’t towing(BIG MISTAKE). My insurance company refused the claim due to being over gross vehicle weight. I had two sheets of 3/4 inch plywood in the bed totaling 130 pounds. They showed me the math and by the time you accounted for my lift kit, tires/rims, train horns, light bar, CB radio and 18 inch smoke stacks my available payload was 62 pounds.
OK, so live and learn. This time I bought a 3500. It’s fine, albeit a little stiff. I chipped a couple teeth going over expansion joints on the highway but my main complaint is this thing has no power. I can barely keep it at 80 MPH pulling my 53 foot quad axle toy hauler with my dozer in the back garage going up a 10% grade. Granted, It is lifted. Just a mild 16 inch skyjacker lift with 54 inch super swampers. I thought Cummins had torque especially when paired with the Asian transmission.
I may upgrade my CP3 to a CP4. I could probably double my power with a Banks Intake. Anything would be an improvement over the stock stuff. RAM cuts so many corners. Every other HD domestic diesel pickup has 8 cylinders and we get 6. You know how much savings they realize by cutting two cylinders off every truck. Do the math. Every other HD domestic diesel pickup has a ten speed transmission. You know how much savings they realize cutting four gears out of the tranny. Do the math. They must make at least 1000 of these trucks a year times 2 cylinders and 4 gears. 1000 X 2 X 4 = 8000! Stellantis is laughing all the way to the bank.
All right, rant over. I need to increase my power! Can I cut off my exhaust and just go with a hood stack without throwing any codes?
Also, which engine oil is best?

I had to change campgrounds today. Park ranger came by and informed me that the fire hazard index had increased to moderate. Due to the increased threat, no open campfires and no RAM Cummins trucks - he showed me the grid heater recall notice which stated the grid heater could catch fire at any moment.

Not happy. Had to pack up everything and find a new campground, preferably one with a lake. Of course on the way to the new campground I broke down. Luckily, some guy in an Eco Diesel pulled over and ended up towing my truck and toy hauler to the next campground. I rode in his truck and it felt like it pulled harder than mine and I was shocked when I looked at his EVIC and saw 42MPG. He said his fuel mileage really went up when he started adding two stroke oil and Dexron VI to his fuel.

Please feel free to share this with anyone you want. I think the more people that know about these issues, the better and maybe we can collectively find some solutions.
