Anyone else having trouble after recalls?

Hey everyone,
I've recently had the emissions, transmission and uconnect recalls fixed my 2019 2500 w/ the Cummins. Now the truck is drinking DEF, idles lumpy and over the weekend I was getting some odd noises from the transmission. It's not the same truck that I bought. I wouldn't have bought the truck if it idled like this.

This is after needing to argue with the dealership about a steering clunk and the driveline clunk. They told me it was normal, but after I raised enough hell for them to really look at it they found a bad drag link. I'm not confident the dealership will take me seriously if I go back with these complaints since they sent me down the road with bad steering components.

no problems here. Just completed almost 500 mile tow over the weekend with no difference from before the Emissions update

Seems to me that there's enough horror stories in that thread that my truck isn't getting this. I have no issues with excessive def use so I'm taking the 123 approach.

If you'd like help, I can escalate a case for you so a case manager can get involved and help with the dealer.
Feel free to send us a PM with your VIN and dealer name to get started.

the 8.4" uconnect update made the head unit unable to recognize my ancient iPod which worked fine for 8 months before the update. Now says "Device Not Recognized". Probably need to update the iPod as it was a USB device. Likely it now is required to use CarPlay (didn't require CarPlay before and it is at least 5-6 years old)

Vinny, do you have any supporting documents you could send me on the steering clunk? I'm having the same issue, which I've been holding off on to resolve (among others) due to COVID. However, I don't want to have to argue with them if they I can hand them something showing the same problem. Mine happens right when my steering wheel goes past 2 o'clock or 10 o'clock, most of the time under braking while turning or if the front end is loaded due to mountain curves and g-force. The clunk only happens once, until I straighten up and then turn again. I feel it through the steering wheel mainly and can hear it. It's almost embarrassing pulling into my driveway; with windows down, I can hear it.

Mine was doing the same thing and I could feel it in the floor board With turns. After 5 visits to the dealer they replaced the track bar and drag link. Both were found to be loose. Ive had the truck back 1 week and no popping.

Did you pull the receiver hitch adapter out of the in floor storage compartment?

less than 2,000 miles after the transmission recall and my fluid looks like this. The 4L60E I personally rebuilt in my last truck has 20,000 miles on the build and the fluid is still bright pink. I don't feel this is acceptable.

They told me it was the drag link, the paperwork says it was the track bar. Either way, with how the work order is written up I don't think they really knew which they did....
