Was that done by Motor City rust proofing ? They did my new truck. Had my truck delivered by enclosed carrier to thier shop from local dealer avoiding the winter salt spray. They did a excellent job. Motor City rust proofing has a FB page . Highly recommend .

Rattle cans of cosmoline. Military used for like a century, from tanks to guns preventing corrosion on long storage. Applies like fluid film , once and done. Get the fluid film hose tip and some body panel tools , pop some covers in the door bottoms and rocker and snake it in and give her hell everywhere.

It does not work in the salt its great for protection with moisture thats about it.

It does not work in the salt its great for protection with moisture thats about it.

I had a 17 that looked brand new using it and I’m in one of the most salt heavy areas there is. I believe It was designed for salt water as well. There is also YouTube videos of side by side comparisons on scrap metal that was tied to I believe a guard rail for a year.
I wish we only used sand but no one wants to learn how to drive I guess
