Anybody Have Any Issues with the new HD's yet?

some auto parts stores carry the edt. I've not been able to find the lx4 at brick in morter yet but will order it on line. I got my edt at oreileys for the same cost as the internet price.
Thanks, nobody has mentioned it yet and I am searching for the threads for CP4...Would Napa, Autozone, Pepboys, Oriely have those products or where do I get them?

I ordered a large qty (gallons) directly from HSS website.

But amazon has also these products. HSS is also a seller there.

I should mention that my setup (Youtube Music on Android) is 100% automatic. As soon as I start the truck, the music restart exactly where it was last halted when I previously stopped the truck. I just need to have my phone in my pocket, no intervention from my part!
So... that is a winning combo imho. There are a lot of curated playlists (or "stations" they call them) to suit your mood. Similar to XM if you will.
If you connect the phone with the cable, then you can also select everything from the uconnect display.

Yep, my setup is Spotify on Apple, Carplay when plugged in. Curated playlists, plus my own custom made ones. I don't miss XM at all.

Thats exactly what I'm going to do when my 16oz edt runs out. Gallon jug all the way

You have to be carefull with additives, it can effect your DPF, so make sure the additive is approved for the Regen process.

I would agree with this if someone was recommending an old product available since the '60... "I've been using that product in all my last 15 trucks"... That might "work" but they weren't designed for today's engines...
The new products listed above have been specifically designed for today's diesel engines technologies. I don't think that would be a problem with the DPF. They even claim less frequent regen cycle so that would be a plus.
Due to the CP4 failures, I prefer to use than not. That is my opinion, not a guarantee.

I agree with yah both. The guy at oreileys tried selling me sea foam, i was like dude, I'm not putting sea foam in my 85k truck . That said , most of these high end products on the mkt today are made specifically for the current generation of regen functionality in mind. Plus I know that its more marketing and hype but hot shot does put themselves in some legal liability on there part because not only do they offer a 100% satisfaction money back guarantee but they also guarantee that there product will not have any adverse affects on your system and they will pay for any damage that has been determined to come from there product. Marketing, yes, but also most products won't stick there neck out there for liability even a little bit. With all that on the table. I use mopar def and have always used a low grade lubritive to help to a small degree, but with people having catastrophic fuel pump system failures at only 1000 miles at a tune of $16,000, I'm totally comfortable going with the hot shot edt or lx4 until I'm 6' under, ram recalls cp4 in exchange for cp3, or my Cummins gives out, really not even a close call, Cummins don't give out, cp4s do, well that is unless you put it on the dyno and try to get 3000hp out of it. She go boom, big boom

What dimples are you speaking of?
Just to the left of that green dot on the black plastic elbow there is a dimple drill mark in the aluminum plate, with several underneath it that are smaller. The newest technology is supposed to have that large dimple on the top like you have and all the little dimples reference what batch it came out of for there reference. Look at my fuel pump, no large dimple and mine was built in January. Of coarse not yet known the differences in dependability but we will see20200907_101020.jpg

This is the same dimple layout as mine is, 2020 3500 built first of January , as I just wrote in the power - trane form is it looks as 1 in 10,000 CP4 fuel pumps go bad. why is this ? are they all not built with the same internals ? I would think they would all go bad with in the same mileage +/- . or is it the 1 in 10,000 was built poorly ?

Rich, I see some dust on them parts.....shame, shame.

If any of you folks have a water leak coming in at the drivers side A-Pillar grab handle, dripping on your left knee and on your headlight switch... there is a TSB to replace the sunroof with an updated assembly. I took mine in 2 weeks back with video from 2 storms that show the water running down the dash and it's origin. I now wait for a new assembly to arrive and I'll return the truck for the swap.

I've been fortunate thus far, but I keep those seals softened with protectents
