Anybody Have Any Issues with the new HD's yet?

That's exactly what I worry about. I don't dispute whatsoever that the product will help the issue I'm having. An as long as everything is functioning properly , no problem, but when codes start popping up like brutal said, I would have to believe that fca could say it was caused by such and such after mkt product. Wich is what I don't want to do is get into a back and forth over warranty claims. I'm sure you can fight it and more than likely win but I don't want or need that stress to deal with. I'm sure there is nothing out there that's a 100% guarantee, unless mopar makes a product. You would think ram would correct this issue from the ground up if its just that easy of a fix with out any repercussions. An that's what makes me wonder, what does fca know that they don't just correct the issue as easily as this device does.
Rich, Rich, Rich...…….who are you trying to kid, you just came through 8 mos of stress without a coronary, and now worried about this little what if? FCA hasn't addressed many issues over the years and that is why the aftermarket exists. Just the mention of that act sends shivers down their spine as burden of proof is on the manufacturer. The dreaded dead pedal can really be an issue if you are indecisive and then commit, like turning to avoid traffic, etc. If somebody were to get killed because of this, they may fix it, but if we cant prove that was the culprit, how can they prove we had a sensitivity booster?

I think i did have a coronary. I'm gonna see how she does after i put rubber to rd in a few more miles. Then if it hasn't gotten any better, ill probably get that little helper device and tell the wife it will help with out fuel mileage. Ohhh I can take em on, i just don't want to. Im also gonna try letting it warm up for a few minutes before I take off see if that helps any.

HVAC
Hood
Clunk noise

All of these are not new engineering problems. I am blow away how these slipped through the cracks.

The hood issue almost has me ready to change brands.

It’s good to know but I’m being facetious

I won’t get anything new.

Anyone else had a problem with their backup alarm not sounding when an object was behind you? Mine did it twice today in a tight little gravel parking lot with a tree directly behind me. You know....the kind where you have to back and turn a little and then pull forward a little and back some more. Twice the backup alarm did not sound when the tree was fully in the yellow part of the dotted lines. On the third pull up and back up the alarm sounded as soon as the tree reached the green portion of the dotted line. I hate intermittent crap because I can't trust it.

Im sure this is just a stupid question on my part, but here we go anyway. Are you referring to an actual back up alarm you have on the rear or the rear park sense that picks up stuff as you get close. If your referring to the rps, then my experience with my front and rear is that the audible alarm doesn't sound on the first lit up bar on screen. Sorry if its a dugh question.

And then mine alarms so fricken early that it is just annoying. But I’m sure at some point it will save my bumper.

Okay...you got me.....yes, the Rear Park Sense. And when I noticed it not beeping I eased it all the way to the nearest Yellow tick mark and it never beeped.

I don't remember if this has come up before, but when I have a trailer attached sometimes the front sensors sound

Out of the blue today AC unit just shut off by itself for about 3-5 min the. Came back on in the Auto mode.

We'll i had my first eyes wide open experience in the new rig today  o_O. Left Lowes and was driving to get on the interstate, i had plenty of car lengths in front of me and i was coming up on interstate overpass that i was driving under to get on - on ramp. The forward collision alarm and light sounded, i honestly can't remember if it hit the brakes or not cuz it scared the fire out of me. Only thing i can figure is, as i was approaching over pass to get on and in left ln, what're ever sensor, picked up concrete columns for over pass??? That alarm will definitely get your attention. Woo wee

I turned active braking off first thing. Read too many horror stories.

Even with it off, the ACC will bring you to a stop if used.

MY acc works good. I'd like to know what that active breaking saw that was there

Hello, group! I have been a member on the other forum for years and just joined here. Having a lot of issues on my new 2019 and am woefully disappointed. Longtime Dodge/Ram Cummins owner here. I apologize that my first post here is dumping on the HD Rams. I'm hoping to get all of this behind me but not having much luck. I'm only posting this to try and help others know they aren't alone. Wouldn't recommend a new '19 or '20 Ram 2500 or 3500 to my worst enemy but would love to point them towards something '18 or older.

Here's what I have on my 2019 with 1169 miles:

Hood Vibation/Flopping issue
VIDEO HERE

Tailgate won't close/latch about half of the time.

HVAC screams but not much air output to speak of

Uses 1 gallon of DEF per 100 miles driven (11 gallons put in in 1160 miles)

DEF gauge reads incorrectly

DEF system threw P203E code

Just got the truck back from the dealer and was told all is normal and some BS about not filling DEF above 3/4.
VIDEO HERE (sorry it's a bit long but shows tailgate, HVAC and DEF issues)

Maybe someone at FCA can help us fix these issues
. Apparently I'm far from the only one having these problems.

Why do you keep your hand on handle
When closing tailgate? Maybe you were pressing the button to open as you were closing?
On the def, were you running your 1100 miles with your exhaust break on? Some dealers say run with it always on, and the. It will use some def, but I only have it on when towing my rv. Just a few thoughts.

Private Message @RamCares and get them involved.

Get a dealer to resolve or start lemon law.

That DEF usage is definitely a problem as is the tailgate. Have you received the latest flash updates? VB6 or the latest seems to have helped DEF usage and mileage for most.

Not everyone is having these problems.

P.S. Why disable comments on your videos? Sure, there will be some ahole comments, but perhaps you would get some useful advice.

That is not right by any means. they should have never released that from the factory that way. your dealer sound like a lot of BS, on the + side love your grass, here in Arizona we don't see that much grass.
