Hi folks. Another new guy here from Southern California.
I ordered a 2021 Ram Power Wagon 75th Anniversary edition in Delmonico Red last Friday.
I had originally been looking at a TRX as I go to Baja a lot as well as some dunes in the stated, King of the Hammers and off road in Nevada. I'm a member of a off road racing team and support them at the various races. But the price was just too much more than I was willing to pay. So I somehow stumbled onto the Power Wagon and it looks like it will fit my needs better. So I ordered one.
It will be replacing my current truck, 2001 Ford F250 Crew Cab Short Bed 4X4 with the Triton V10. Nothing wrong with the truck, other than the gas mileage, 12 MPG on the highway. Just convinced the wife I needed/wanted a new truck.
Cant wait to finally get the new truck and take it out for a spin down in Baja or King of the Hammers to see how it does.
A use the name Crusty Old Shellback as that's what I am. 21 years active duty in the Navy. another 20 years after I retired working for the Navy riding ships. Crossed the equator 4 times in my career. ARGH!
