"Delete it too"?2020 RAM 3500 HO. 19K so far so good. Wonder how long this thread will last before the powers delete it too?
If i recall there was 2 threads running about the CP4. One was getting off the rails and was locked and the other was active. I would check back once a week to see if RAMCARES responded but can now only find the locked thread. I must have scrolled thru what seemed like 100+ threads and can't find the active post about the CP4. ?"Delete it too"?
What thread got deleted?

That's a tough call because your near the end of warranty. My dealer told me the pump falls under powertrain warranty 5 year or 100, 000 miles but not injectors or other related parts. Because I have 10k on mine I still have 1.5 years left of basic warranty I'm going to hold out and see what happens then ill do conversion with the no tune if nothing is done about this. It depends how much you owe on your truck too. If you have a lot paid off probably a lot cheaper to do conversion than buying a brand new truck.'19 with 33xxx miles, bought it with 14xxx and have used HSS EDT and LX4 since I bought it. No issues yet. I was just talking to my wife about it this morning, now that we are nearing the end of the warranty, do we just roll with it?, Do the CP3 conversion?, Or see about getting a '21 or'22? Just rolling with it could be the cheapest or most expensive option . I just happened to time the market about perfect when I bought it and now I've been offered about$15000 more than I paid but the next one will come with a steep premium as well. What are you guys paying to get a conversion done?
So if the CP4 gives out, sends metal down the fuel lines injectors etc, the injectors are NOT covered after how many miles? That's a tough call because your near the end of warranty. They would have to be covered because a warrantied part caused the failure even then i have never heard of injectors not being covered in the powertrain warranty as they are a powertrain partSo if the CP4 gives out, sends metal down the fuel lines injectors etc, the injectors are NOT covered after how many miles?
When I bought my truck I specifically asked about coverage on the injectors and they told me 3 years or 36k.They would have to be covered because a warrantied part caused the failure even then i have never heard of injectors not being covered in the powertrain warranty as they are a powertrain part
I’m going to ask them again when my truck goes in cuz if this is the case I’m going to wait longer on a cp3 conversation. Good to know!!Your warranty is very clear that they are covered 5/100,000

The above post had me looking at new trucks today. My 2020 is worth more then I paid so it might be a bye bye soon. Saw a 2022 RAM that had what I need..I’m going to ask them again when my truck goes in cuz if this is the case I’m going to wait longer on a cp3 conversation. Good to know!!
