Hey guys I have Android Auto in my new Power Wagon with the 12" screen, is there a way to make it full screen? Would be nice if I could full screen it for the map. My truck came with nav but I prefer the one in AA. Thanks

Unfortunately, there is no way to make the map full screen. I wish you could. I typically have Google NAV on the top and Spotify (also Android Auto) on the bottom. Sometimes I will run the stock Nav just to see upcoming street names since it is easier to see.

That's a shame and seems like really poor thinking on rams part. Or their way of making you upgrade to their nav unit

I am not sure if it Ram's problem or Android Autos problem. It might be a bit of both. Scaling the map from the data provided by Android might be difficult. I believe the current processor is being tapped out in the 12" screen too. It will be interesting to see if the next version of the 12" with Uconnect 5 will be able to do it. It is rumored to have a faster processor.

It is 100% AndroidAuto. If you do a quick search with your engine of choice for something like "AndroidAuto full screen", you'll see a ton of results coming back with the same complaint from countless forums regarding other makes/models of vehicles, well beyond the FCA umbrella.

Supposedly the fruit-flavored suite of phones and the CarPlay system seem to have better luck getting to full screen with some platforms, though.
