I’m looking for some new tires for my new 2500. I’m looking at all terrains I drive highway some but also dirt roads and logging roads that are rocky and a lot of sticks that can puncture a tire. I also drive in a lot of snow. I haul on occasion 35hp tractor and a 6 ton dump trailer with various loads. But I want it made in the USA what’s everyone’s suggestions?

Never understood the obsession, most of the truck those tires are carrying aren't US made.

Goodyear is your only option, I believe cooper moved their manufacturing?

Duratracs would be your best bet.

if you have concern on puncture issues, check out the kanati armor hog atx. I run them all over the farm with cactus and mesquite thorns in abundance. fantastic tire, so far. kanati is a division of greenball.

Look at Tire Rack web site. Pick a brand tire, pick a style (AT-3) look at the complete tire size & specs menu. The last column on the right side gives place of manufacture.
As an example - Toyo is listed US

I didn't mention that certain sizes of the same design will be listed US or Jp

I've been quite happy with the Kanati Trail Hogs that I'm running, but while Greenball is an American company, I believe they have the Kanati line manufactured in Indonesia.

Unfortunately it looks like the Kanati line is made overseas. Also it can be a foreign company as long as they are manufactured here

Continental/General makes tires in the US, there is a factory 20 miles or so from me. Not sure if AT truck tires are made there, but worth a look.

Love my Toyos and they are made in the good old USA most Toyo truck tires are made in Georgia USA a limited few are made in Japan but most truck tires will be from Georgia.
Many Falken tires are also made in the US as are many Micky Thompson tires (Cooper)

I 100% would rather buy USA made products if given the choice. Tires are something you have the choice on. Ram trucks not so much..

Seems manufacturers have factories in many countries now. Check the specific tire you want and check it. My GT radial. Made in USA. Pirellis, made in Brazil. Etc.

Does anyone have any experience with nitto ridge grapplers or Mickey Thompson Baja boss AT
Yes I got the Ridge Grapplers because it's what was available.

The good: Overall a very good tire. They are wearing evenly and very slow over 25k miles and I only rotate them every 10k. Not noisy and have nice road manners.

The bad: in the wet I have to feather the throttle. Could also be the stupid amount of torque I have but I can break them loose at will regardless of speed. My truck lives outside so I do have cracking already - nothing crazy. Not quite as aggressive of a tire as I wanted although that's my fault for being impatient.

I am a tire whore and these are the tires I have had in the last several years. Cooper at3 and st maxx, bfg k03, Toyo at2,at3, Mt and RT (love my toyos), gy duratracs, Falken at3w. I live in Montana so see all kinds of weather and terrain do a lot of offroading in Montana as well as in Utah. for logging roads with sharp rocks and sharp sticks Toyo RT and MT are hard to beat. knock on wood I have never cut a side wall all the way through.

Just bought a set of Baja Boss AT (Made In USA) on sidewalls. Still in my garage waiting on wheels to get powder coated. They are a nice looking tire. I wanted them for the 3 ply sidewall.
