Looked at the display, and thought wow it’s hot outside :) Drove for a few hours, had the truck off for about 1hr between stops. Fluctuated between 131f and 119f into the evening.
2021 ram, 2500. Cummins.
Anyone else have this issue? Shows the same on the hud as well.

Thanks,
Paul

You down in AZ? I heard it's a scorcher down there right now.

Good old ghost electronics.
Took a trip out west in Feb, I live in Ohio, and ever since, my clock display is 3 hrs behind, but only for a short while.
I never see it happen, but it self corrects within + or - 15 minutes.

Sounds like the mirror sensor is messed up

Same thing happened to my 2021 HD. The temp gauge kept saying we’ll over 100 degrees during the winter. Not wanting to take it into the dealership, I replaced the temp probe in the mirror myself for just a few bucks from the dealer parts department. No issues since.

I thought the truck used those ambient temperature sensors to make the engine run optimally? If that's the case you could be wasting $$ in fuel.

2 things to that #1 the intake temp and coolant temp sensors are the only thing that affects engine fueling/ running parameters
#2 it would be using less fuel when hot, more fuel when cold.

Just to tie this up. Purchased new sensor off of eBay for $15(see pic). Drove the truck for 2 mins, ambient temp began to report back to actual. All good.

Thanks to all those responded.
