Allison 10 speed transmissions

I am getting ready to order up a 2022 2500. I have heard lots of rumors that an Allison 10 speed might be added before the end of the year. Can anyone justify this at all at this time?

No it wont and you should be glad the 10 speed is not great

There has been an Allison rumor for a very long time. The chances of anything like that taking place anytime soon (let alone mid production cycle change) seems very unlikely even if just looking at the current economic and supply chain issues. 22's are already showing up so I would base my decision on what is currently available.

You’ll see a ZF or torqueflite in an 8 speed flavor before you see a 10 speed Allison
