Anyone use this to add options to there 2019 yet, or have any issues getting it to communicate with there truck since I can't find any info if it will work on the 2019 to add options since its different from the 4th gens?

I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do to turn on the aux switches in my truck other than the dealer since the 19's have 6 aux buttons and the 4th gens had 5.

you will need the bypass from infotainment the module its in the back of the cluster.

But if you have the aux switches from factory installed is in the commercial menu in the cluster.

you'll need the security bypass cable. search google, you can get it from several spots.

I already have 12+8 cable and had my dash apart today to find the security module to see if my X431 pro software would connect to my Ram but I suspect it has to do with the 12+8 cable, not sure. What a pain in the to get in there. I think I'm going to buy one of those bypass harnesses that connects to the can bus and oem obd port.

What I'm doing is adding all the aux switches to my truck that did not come with them. I have a bunch of post in the aux switches posts. I have all the oem terminals and schematics to wire up the oem pdc box on the diesel trucks that did not have the switches from the factory.

in my first 19 i relocated the module let me check if i have pictures.

Security module relocation.

This is what I was thinking of getting so as not to go thru that again.

i was no luck with this bypass i connected to the truck and alfaobd with the infotainment bypass.

I was looking at mine today while I was in there about moving it, then it started to get dark then I started to think why not just get that other cable instead if my 12+8 cable is the issue with the x431 pro software

I'm right there with you, mine has a CP4 pump rattle issue they are not sure about yet, wishing I got the Power Wagon now.

On my 19 1500 you could get to it from under the dash without taking anything off, but had the same issue with getting the software to communicate with the BCM is where it always failed just like today. It works great on my nephews 15 Jeep Wrangler

yup that rattle drove me crazy. now my new one have 3000 miles no rattle noise by the moment.

Thanks for that, every time I think I got this licked I have to buy another thing.

I was just putting it down to the new cp4, but after hearing some new ones that are whisper quiet I'm like we have a problem. They ended up buying it back due to that?
