The Aisin in my 2024 3500 shifts ridiculously fast, meaning when taking off from a stop, the damn thing is in 6th gear before I even make 40 mph. It runs through the gears, even under acceleration, faster than anything I've ever owned. Truthfully, it makes it kinda hard to have any "fun" with the truck off the line because its ALWAYS in-between shifts! It doesn't do what I'm used to with other vehicles, including my 06 5.9, which is to hold gears a bit longer and wind out a little under acceleration before it grabs the next gear. This truck? No. Get on the throttle (or not) and it just sweeps though all 6 gears blam blam blam. I feel like Im gonna hurt something when accelerating hard (which I don't do often) with it constantly shifting like that. Is this normal behavior for the HO/Aisin?
