The sway control hitches I've seen all have weight distribution as part of them, I don't recall seeing just sway control, but I could be wrong.Yes the ones im referencing are 40ft park models.
Yes a WDH could be used but its not really needed especially for the people that say its a must with the little travel trailers sway control may be needed but not the WDH in my books anyway
It's crazy you're towing a park model like that without a sway control device. I can't say that's something I'd want to do on a long drive. Taking my 32' trailer from the east coast to Montana, there were numerous times that I felt like I was fighting a constant wiggle, and some serious sway around semis. I can't say I'd be eager to do that trip without a sway control device of some kind, but perhaps that is my inexperience talking.
