So I have a 22 Ram 2500 Laramie. It has front heated and cooling seats. No rear heated seats. I bought a set of limited seats and console out of a 22 2500. I have alfa obi and want to make the rear heat seats work. Is there a harness I need to make this happen? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I got all the limited seats put in and also go the console. The rear seats plugged right in and used alfaobi and I think I have the module turned on. But the rear heated seat buttons don't light up. Is there something I'm missing?

I have turned on the rear seat module and made sure that the seats are active. I talked to jimmy07 and he is making me a harness that is missing in the dash. Hopefully this takes care of it.

I thought I did at first but no. As long as your truck had a center console to start with you should be good. All wires are there. Did you connect the rear heat seat connectors?

Good deal. Yes, truck was a Laramie like yours with heated/cooled front, but no heated rears. I've switched it over to Longhorn seats.

Just did all the changes with Alfa but no lights on the switches and I assume no heat function.
1. My truck had a jump seat but not the full length center console. All of the USB functions and everything else work via the jump seat harness, but maybe the heated rear seats are not prewired on that?
2. What rear heated seat connectors are you referring to? Are they under the console or at the rear seats?

There should have been a harness under each rear seat that needed to be plugged in. The rear seat lights are in that harness.
So since you didn’t have the console there is a harness you need. A member made me one but I ended up not needing it since mine truck came with a center console. But I had a friend that also did the swap and he used the harness I had.

There was a harness, it is plugged in, and the lights are working (though I just noticed it’s in the wrong place, must have gotten bumped around when I was installing the seats haha)

On the first step with Alfa, do you recall if you used Type 1 or Type 3? Both are pictured.

Mine was defaulted to type 1, but changing to type 3 didn’t seem to make any difference.

Ok I went back and looked at my old messages these are the settings I had to change.
Set these settings with alfaobd:

- LIN & Misc: right rear climate seat switch present- YES
- Memory: rear heated seats present- YES
- Seats A: rear heated seat levels- 3 LEVEL (high/med/low/off)
- Seats B: seat material rear- TYPE 2
- Cabin Net: CRSM comfort rear seats module- Enabled
