I have the aux switch panel on my 2022 Ram 3500 and in process of adding aux fuel tank. I cannot get the cover off the to insert the aux blade connector. I have tried pushing and pulling and squeezing and nothing , I guess I'm not doing something correct, it's a plastic connector and afaird that I might damage it. I guess you have to remove it to get the blade connector properly inserted, any thoughts as to what I may try. All the utube vedios I have seen they just reach in and have it in there hand.

Try pushing it in while pressing the release clip, sometimes if the seal is new it is putting pressure on the locking tab and it makes it difficult to release

I have pushed in and tried to squeeze the tab on the side of the connector, are you saying to push in and just push in on the side of connector and than pull out? I have seen reference on line of using a clip to help remove the cover but no reference of what the clip is and how it is used.

No what you said you tried is what i was referencing, when you go to to pull it off how hard are you pulling because the seal can create a bit of resistance making it tougher to pull off

Well I wiggled, wagged pushed and pulled and whoopie it came off what an experience that has been. Would not have been so difficult if things were not so cramed together under the hood. I now have my relay switch all set up, thanks for all the advice.
