Thanks again for your expertise and quick response!!Yes. The one you originally have is only a humidity sensor for ATC. The new one is both rain and humidity sensor.

Yes if you currently have the sensor for humidity that comes with the dual heat control, just need the sensor with both humidity and rain sensing, then use AlfaOBD to enable. Mine works great. That’s all it was? Just changing the sensor and it worked? I’m also having the same issue.
Just curious if you tried using a jell pak as was being talked about. I purchased the jell pak but realized when the new sensor arrived that it already had the jell applied, no jell pak needed.I made the changes to mine and never did get it working.
At the time the sensor didn’t come with a new gel pack and no one had them in stock to buy. Maybe I should look again to buy 1.Just curious if you tried using a jell pak as was being talked about. The gel was already applied to the new sensor, not a separate part, no need to purchase a separate gel pak. It had a clear plastic protective cover when removed exposes the side that goes against the windshield with gel already applied. If you add a second gel pack, not realizing the sensor already has gel applied, you would probably see a lot of issues. At the time the sensor didn’t come with a new gel pack and no one had them in stock to buy. So should I have removed the existing gel off my windshield from the humidity sensor? The gel was already applied to the new sensor, not a separate part, no need to purchase a separate gel pak. If the new sensor had jel already applied, like mine did, then absolutely, and clean the windshield good with ibuprofen alcohol. So should I have removed the existing gel off my windshield from the humidity sensor?
Good for the truck....Isopropyl Alcohol
Good for the weekend....ibuprofen alcohol
Any new info on this? Will this sensor (68298334AA) work on a Bighorn withOUT auto temp control (ATC)?
I don't have any.Any new info on this?
