I just bought a new 3500 HO Limited Longhorn...where do you go get OFFICIAL part numbers for filters? It seems like Ram just wants to send us to Dealerships and there is no information in the manual.

There are several Mopar genuine parts places online that show the PN's. Just google one up.

Go to Geno's Garage. They carry both Mopar and Fleetguard (a subsidiary of Cummins). Part numbers are listed for each item and prices are reasonable. I usually use Fleetguard filters if they have them in stock.

Small correction, the 11.5” axle recommendations are not SRW it’s all 11.5” axles (DRW and SRW). The SRW reference is in the manual for the 12.0” axle only. It isn’t written very well, but if you look at the SRW reference as both 11.5” and 12.0” then there isn’t a recommendation for the 11.5” DRW axle in the manual.

We recommend using SAE 75W-85 HD Ram GL-5 Synthetic Axle Lubricant in 9.25 Front, 11.5 and 12.0 (Single Rear Wheel) Rear Axles. Use Mopar® GL-5 Synthetic Gear Lubricant SAE 75W-140 in 12.0 (Dual Rear Wheel) Rear axles. Limited slip additive is required for limited slip axles. If the axle fluid is not pre-mixed with limited slip additive we recommend using Mopar® MS-10111 Limited Slip Additive.

For those that don’t know, all gas and SO trucks get the 11.5” axle (SRW or DRW), and all HO trucks get the 12.0” axle (SRW or DRW).

C&C 3500’s get the 11.5” axle (SRW or DRW) unless they are optioned with the Max Tow package and then they get the 12.0” axle (DRW only).
