I have a 2020 3500 SRW with the Cummins. Build date is 07/20.
I thought I had a weak AC system like other owners have reported. I have knobs only for controls in my Bighorn. With the AC running, and the knob in the dash/floor position, the air discharging from the dash is cool but certainly not cold.
This is how I had it set on a 70f day and it barely kept the cab cool. When I pulled up at home, I was thinking I had to take it to the dealer to get checked out when I reached for the control knob and turned it to the full dash position, The AC air discharge temp instantly dropped by about 10 degrees. Turned it back one notch to blend to the floor and dash, the discharge temp instantly went up. It seems like the AC system only works when the selector knob is in the dash position only.
Is this normal? I recall my 13 Ram 1500 was ice cold in the dash/floor position.
