Batteries in these trucks are like the tires. JUNK! Lowest bidder, probably. When I get to four years (only put 6000 a year on it) i will be replacing both tires and batteries as a preventative measure.
Not that you want to avoid the Diesel Preheat, but in an emergency case.
Test the batteries a load tester is 20$ usually if they are close to weak change em out as a pairyeah i'm sure you're right but I dont want to put in new batteries and find out it's actually a bad ABS module
Pre heat is not as important as you think besides it will still run the grid heater once the truck is running.I also have a 2019 HO/Aisen and having similar problems. I added a Battery Tender and even with that, I still had a problem this week. I am going to go with two new H7 (94R) AGM batteries from Interstate. I'll let you know if that fixes my issues. Does anyone get a loud clunk, then a Popp in the cab? Nice to know about the Press Brakes and hit the start button twice. I'll try to rememeber that next time. I took my fuel filter to 0% for the last changeIt’s a 2019 3500 bighorn. The fuel filter percent got down to 1%. I tried to attach a video of what the dash is doing but it only allows pictures. when I try to start the truck it cycles thro the preheat and acts like it will start but just does one click then it will ding through the service alerts. is there a way to send you the video?
They dont have a hose they can soak the truck down?Every time it rains hard overnight and I start my truck in the morning i get the ABS light light, Trailer Brake fault, no 4wd avaible, and no traction control lights. so now i'm convinced it's either a bad ground common to all those modules or a bad power wire that's common to all those modules. No one can diagnose since it's only doing it when it rains.

Noo that’s a great description thank you, I’m gonna check it out later and see if that’s my issue as well, thank you again@Mrb0697 yes i did. Turns out this is super common to these trucks. On my front right ABS sensor, (that black wire that connects to your front brake caliper,) had rubbed through the insulation and was touching the frame. Apparently the hot wire the powers the ABS is the same hot wire that powers all the other modules like the trailer brake, the front collision stuff...so that's why 37 CEL lights come on the dash..
The wire was actually rubbing the frame where i had installed my leveling kit. So if you follow the ABS wire from the front wheel up PAST it's plastic connector, the short is right above where the loom touches the frame.
Let me know if any of that isn't clear and I can hopefully explain it better.
Did this end up working or did you replace the batteries?Noo that’s a great description thank you, I’m gonna check it out later and see if that’s my issue as well, thank you again
I ended up just replacing the batteries and everything was fine for me, I looked for that but couldn’t find any evidence of that being the issueDid this end up working or did you replace the batteries?
