We're going to be headed toward the Cali 115 degree heat tomorrow, so im curious if ill finally notice what you all have talked about, but so far, it's worked great under 100 degrees and ours is always on duel zones with back of console shut off
Will ram issue a recall or notify owners when complete, or how will they get the word out? Also is ram expecting to include this as a recall or owner pays ipgrade?Hello everyone, we wanted to touch base to provide an update on this concern from our end. Please know that this is on our radar as we are working diligently to make sure both your concerns and findings are heard. As of now, we have a new part in development. However, due to COVID restrictions, production has been delayed. We anticipate to have a resolution for this soon, and will be sure to keep you updated as we know more.

I have heard it mentioned about frost/condensation on the windshield. I took this picture Friday night. The windshield was clear until we stopped for about 5 minutes. This happens consistently when it's hot and humid out and the truck sits with the AC running for a bit. I have never had a truck seem to "leak" so much AC air through the defroster.

Had that happen the other night. I had just turned the fan down in speed from full speed to something slower. Once I turned the fan back up in speed the moisture went away. Don't know why any of that happened.I have heard it mentioned about frost/condensation on the windshield. I took this picture Friday night. See attached. Pic of my neighbors truck.. Clamp is from Harbor freight and on one of the hoses into the heat core at the firewall. It may be the return hose but the other hose is super small and hard to get to. He tried both and it was the same effect. Dropped vent temps ranging from 8-11 degrees.Would you mind linking to an explanation or telling me where to clamp off?
Don’t shoot the meager here.....buuuuuuuttttttt............these rams are notorious for rust issues from oil pans on Cummins, to all the fasteners and anything undercarriage. I don’t think there is a vehicle built today that can stand up to the salt Walter/brine crap they put on roads in the winter. If it helps you at all, we are trading in our 2018 sierra denali hd on an ordered 2019 ram, that I ordered knowing it may have a/c issues that I have to tweak myself. This is entirely due to the fact that my 18 month old gmc is rusting and the frame coating is coming off in large chunks. I would rather have to put a valve in to fix my ac then deal with rust like that
This is absurd. I can't believe that we all spend good amount of money for these brand new truck and this is what we have to rely on to have acceptable AC. And when you take it to the dealership to try remedy the situation they have the nerve to said to your face that blowing 50~60 degree is within their "spec".See attached. Pic of my neighbors truck.. You had a 3rd Gen without blend door failure? That's a miracle!I have a 2003 ram I bought new 17 years ago.
That I drive when it is hot out ( a/c still works great )
Because my 2019 a/c sucks. Customer loyalty. How about FCA loyalty ?
