So I was trying to get around someone quickly on the way home and with the pedal floored and all of the sudden at 99 it upshifted and cut fuel... Wtf Ram. The Hemi/8speed has plenty of power left in it at 100 and the suspension is rock solid stable, that was just f@#$!ng dangerous to cut out power like that.

So AlfaODB... does it have the ability to to reset the limit speed?

Not that I’d ever recommend going that fast in a 7000+ pound truck, but mine doesn’t cut out at 99.

The PW is 99, the other trims are slightly higher 102/104. I'm assuming due to stock tire ratings. I'd rather not tune it, but having a short cutoff like that is dangerous when the de facto speed limit on the interstate in SD is 85-90.

I hit 104, but I let off before it cut me off.

I too was making a pass and didn’t pay attention to how quickly the beast got up to speed.

Mine hit the limiter at 109 and cut out. I was a little disappointed as I thought most vehicles were set around 118 from my experience, but not a big concern as i usually don't go over 90

My 1500 cut out at 200 kmh = 124.25 mph
2011 bighorn hemi
I was curious so I tried it once years ago.

I know your out there hemi, what did yours do from the factory and then after your dealer unrestricted it.

One thing about the 5th Gen site and here...you guys keep giving me more reasons to stick to the back roads of Pennsylvania. And fewer and fewer thoughts of traveling west

:p
