8 inch lift kits?

This thread is amuzing :) looking how it started and where it ended and the OP has long goneo_O
 
My buddy had a 10 inch lift on his 06, he only kept it on there for about 2 years before he decided to go to 6 inches. Sitting at a light in my 05 CCLB, he pulled up in the lane beside me with that 10 inch lift and it felt like I was sitting in an S10. Funny thing is my 19 3500 is so big with just a level and 35s that it is nearly as tall as his with the 6” lift.
 
I had an '01 Ram back in my younger days with a 6" lift and 35" tires. I think my current '19 with stock tires and no level/lift sits about even to where that one sat.

Also, I love my tradesman with a cummins. Mine is just a work truck I use to haul stuff from here to there and get me from home to work and the bar. I appreciate the guys that wanna do the huge lifts and big tires. I just don't wanna drive one everyday anymore....

If he is willing to find me in northern ontario and come up here i will gladly put him in his place in person lol
 
Ive had leveled, 4 inch, 6 inch and recently an 8 inch Mcgauphys. Stay away from them, their parts are not the best quality and they rust quick. Also, took them 4 weeks to send a track bar bracket as it broke when i took it off to re-powder coat their parts due to rust. if you have a wife, she will hate the 8 inch, LIFT of course lol! Seriously, youll also want a 8ft garage door.
