Hello all.
Something has changed within the past 2 months or so and it’s driving me nuts.
Before this issue, whatever Source I was using when I turned the truck off, would continue when I started back up.
I listen to SiriusXM 99.99% of the time and since day one, SiriusXM would automatically begin after every restart. Without fail.
Now, whenever I start the truck again after work, shopping, gas….etc, Android Auto opens and I have to select the SiriusXM button every time to start listening. I’ve checked every setting in both my phone and Uconnect and I can’t find anywhere to set the default Source as “always at restart” or something like that. I want SiriusXM to play immediately when I start the truck…..like it did when I brought it home and setup my accounts! Worked like this for 2+ years.
Even if I unpair my phone and disable Android Auto, I STILL have to select the SiriusXM button as the Source to start music!
I now have a $70k truck with a radio worse than the radio in my 1976 Chevy Scottsdale truck that played music immediately at start up. LMAO!!!
I tried to update radio but it says connect over WiFi only! WTF?!
