67A recall

I’ve seen some older threads about the 67A recall. But I thought I’d like to start a new one since it being out for so long now. Does anyone recommend it or should I steer clear.

HEY GUYS,

i just received in the mail a notice of a recall from FCA for my 2017 3500 DRW 6.7L HO 4x4 . It is listed as Emissions recall 67A D truck engine Calibration on the notice. Has any one here gotten that? Do we know what the "upgraded caliabration " actually does?
I am a little on the edge about FCA/ RAM right now as the last recall I had done Nov 2022 to Feb 2023 ( Y26 wheel studs ) took 3 months + 4 visits and the dealer ( Ed Voyles in Marietta GA ) tried to sell me "updated engine calibration " and " updated Aisin AS69 transmission calibration " for $500 They also...

I’m just stressed out because my ass has to go back on deployment in a few weeks and I need to know how long my trucks gonna be gone. So please instead of singling me out. Just don’t reply to me. Sound good?

What do you mean how long the truck will be gone?


If you need to have it done for your states requirement for registration renewal then get it done if not dont bother


P.S. he will send your A*s packing if you push the issue he is a moderator on the form he is laying down the rules for you if you don't like it perhaps this is not the form for you. You can get all the answers you need either asking on the thread linked or by reading through it. There is not much to the recall just a software flash for emissions

It’s gone for other things right now. For a faulty EGR valve. But part is about 2 weeks out. I just wanna know if should have the recall done while it’s there.

They will likely do it anyway but may as well have it done since its only a 30min process

My main concern with it is will it cause any negative effects to my ram or is it just a little more DEF consumption.

67A has zero affect on anything other than meeting emissions. This has been beaten to death in the other thread.
