6.4 hard to find on lots compared to 6.7

Around here, they have seen a big uptick in gas sales as well. Pretty even spread of finally getting a proper trans with it. People getting tired of emissions, and price point, or a combo of them. Friend that is in Ford sales says he is seeing the same with the 7.3. Gas is getting more capable and less people are making the jump to diesel. More people are willing to shed the diesel and try gas.

I'm not turning this into a gas vs diesel. Cummins is still a great motor. Save it.

I see many more diesels in my area. Looking around local dealers when we were shopping probably 80% were diesel. Lots of almost new 2019 and 2020 diesel models as well - I can only speculate they were people having issues with or afraid of the CP4 problem and traded them in on the 2021 models. Lots of diesels though.

My dealer said same thing some fleets have even gone gas from what he tells me.

Complete opposite in my area. Just a couple of gas trucks on the lots, everybody wants the diesel so if they do show up they are gone in no time. It's rare to even see a gas HD Ram on the road here. Maybe 1 out of 20? (if that).

Even before this current shortage I hadn't been seeing hardly any Hemi heavy duty trucks on a dealers lot, much less a nicely equipped one.

Around here mostly hemi’s because every ram you see is a power wagon. I swear if you close your eyes and throw a rock chances are you will hit a power wagon.…or a subaru lol

I never see any 4.5 Gen HEMI's around here. All I ever see are Cummins. The Hemi's I do see are the 4th Gen. I had a diesel 3/4 ton (chevy) at one time and I vowed never to get another one. Never had issues with the motor just didn't like how many hoops and red tape there was involved with emissions on the newer motors. Not worth the hassle IMO. For what I do, Hemi is plenty for me.

Does anyone have any scoop? Seems like lots only have the cummins right now. A few dealers have the gasser, but only in 2 door tradesmen. I’m in the Northern California area.
I literally looked for like 3-4 months on-line before I found mine. Just got "Elvira" Dec. 9th. Awsome truck, very worth the wait.
