I'm building a new shop and would like to incorporate a 4 post auto lift. The finished inside dimensions of the shop will be 39' W x 45' D x 18' H so there should be plenty of space. Google searching gives mixed results, and I could find no related discussion here in the forum. I'd like to know if any of you have experience and recommendations for a HD lift. The most I'll lift is my 3500 with a curb weight of 9,000lb at any given time. Thanks in advance for your input.

I bought an Advantage 11000SS last March. I use it more than I thought I would and like it. I bought 2 of their air operated hydraulic jacks and have lifted my 2500 CC CTD. It makes maintenance so much easier. It’s my first lift and I set it up myself, with the help of a buddy, after watching their videos with no problems. I would recommend it. Also like the led lights, with magnets, they sell hooked on the inside of the rails.

That looks like a nice, affordable unit. Thanks for the response!

I second on the advantage lift. Lifts truck fine, after swapping to a wider offset wheel I have to be really careful on placement tires hang off about 2” each side. Beats laying on the concrete ! A wide body Dodge would probably be the same. Also clears for drive under on stock suspension- 83” I think is what it is.1702001138279.jpeg

Nice setup!

The TRX fits fine on the Advantage 11000 fine as does my Grasshopper mower. Very versatile and comes with casters if you ever want to move it. Also like the mechanical locks. Seems better than a pneumatic system some others have.

I like the idea of being able to move it around. All of my woodshop machines are on mobile bases and that's very convenient.

Yes -the advantage 4 post does not need to be bolted down

I have a bend pack 9k lift that I bought for working on my old cars and storage. It's too small to fit the truck but still a great space saver.
I would recommend the Bend Pack brand but you'll need a heavier duty unit for our trucks.
My next lift will be a 2 post for the other side of the garage for tire changes and brake work.
