<div class="bbWrapper">Picked truck up 6-24. 2 days later MIL light comes on. Took into dealer yesterday, chat with them today and they say the DPF is bad, and on backorder! Anyone else have a DPF issue? and if so so soon?</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">That sucks. Same thing happened on my ecodiesel, had to wait for parts, but dealer gave me a truck to drive</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I know 2 people that bought 21 cummins 2500s this year. Both had the same issue within the first 2000 miles, they are in the same boat with the part being back ordered. They are on a list for when the parts come in but the light cleared from their dashes and both trucks are driving normal. Local dealer said it is happening to a lot of 21s. I still ordered my 22 recently and just hope that issue gets sorted out before mine is made.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Yes, mine is at 14000km and has a bad DPF sensor... or at least that is the first item they are told to replace and totally backordered... no idea when parts will be available. Seriously pissed.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Update. As thought it is the backordered sensor. Will see how long it takes to get one.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">No idea yet, dealer said the truck is VOR’d. I assume that means vehicle is off the road?<br /> <br /> With this sensor bad, will the DPF still regen or when its full will it go into limp home?<br /> <br /> Curious if they can’t just try cleaning the sensor until parts come.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">This is the part# the dealer I went to ordered: 68354201AB I found one here : <a href="https://www.cheapjeeppartsonline.com/oem-parts/mopar-particulate-matter-sensor-68354201ab" target="_blank" class="link link--external" data-proxy-href="/forum/proxy.php?link=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cheapjeeppartsonline.com%2Foem-parts%2Fmopar-particulate-matter-sensor-68354201ab&amp;hash=dab53136fd98650d043dfe2cac05a896" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">https://www.cheapjeeppartsonline.com/oem-parts/mopar-particulate-matter-sensor-68354201ab</a> went ahead and ordered it. My 2019 lasted 20k miles. Ordered the truck in Sept of 19 and got it in Nov. of 19 The Matter sensor took a dump back in April of 2020. Still waiting on the part AND still waiting on the cab mounts that they are going to replace under warranty and the TSB‍<img class="smilie smilie--emoji" alt="♂️" src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/2642.png" title="Male sign :male_sign:" data-shortname=":male_sign:" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" /> Very frustrating! They told me to drive it and tow with it as normal‍<img class="smilie smilie--emoji" alt="♂️" src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/2642.png" title="Male sign :male_sign:" data-shortname=":male_sign:" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" /></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Update. FINALLY got the part in and had it installed. Ram cares stepped in to help. Dealer initially inputted order incorrectly, so I may have been waiting &quot;forever&quot; if Ram cares hadn&#039;t checked in for me.<br /> <br /> Now I can actually finish registering it and &quot;legally&quot; drive it. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" /></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Yep, it’s now September and no sign of parts. Truck has been fine even though check engine light has been on for months, even with lots of RV towing.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">For the ones waiting on a sensor. I&#039;m ordering a new 22, and it will not have that sensor working live. But the truck will have a recall from day one. When The sensor for the DPF comes in, the dealers will replace the dummy sensor with the real one.</div>

That way were not waiting months for that sensor. Could have shut down the line for this one sensor. For me not an issue. Other&#039;s may not like this, but if you want to get your truck built. Its life in these times of only order parts as you build the units.</div>

Hate it but that&#039;s the truth of the matter.<br /> <br /> .</div>
