3500 SRW Automatic-Leveling Rear Air-Suspension

Question I have is if you use the trailer tongue jack to raise it to attach the bars as many require, do you lock out the air or does it not matter since you're lifting?
That's how I lift the tongue to install the bars and I do nothing with the air. Just lift, attach and drop it down.

Brutal, you are correct. Your answer of lowering the trailer weight on the hitch by utilizing the alternate trailer height before attaching the WDH bars is what I normally do when towing my trailer. I just wanted to confirm this is the correct way to utilize the alternate trailer height.

thanks
