295/65/20

Excuse my ignorance but why would you worry about a spare tire?

I think they’re perfect for that. My truck is a Diesel and I haven’t noticed any decreased performance or fuel economy as a result of the larger size.

How far off is your speedometer with the different size tires?

I planned on going 295/65R20 for the stock wheels when my truck gets here….but the problem is the spare. 35x12.5 (actually 34.5”) can be crammed in the spare tire location. 295/65 are about 35.1”. Would be nice to hear from someone that was able to stuff a spare tire in.

285/75R18 is 34.8" (Falken spec) and fits in the spare tire well.

I run 295/60/20 Toyo AT3 on my 2500 which has the air suspension. I tow an 11,000 pound center console with no issues, no rubbing. Very happy with tires and they look great on the truck.
Did you level the front? Notice any drop in MPG with them. I think I am going with this tire. I was worried it would rub.

I have a 2019 Ram 2500 Mega Cab with off road package. I have read that 35 inch tires aren’t great for towing but 295/65/20 is about the same size and does better towing. Will the 295/65 fit and does anyone have an opinion on that?
295/65 is a littler taller than a 35, but not as wide as a 12.50, i would get the 295 personally

Great tool for reference.
