2500 vs. 3500 Frame Brakes Suspension - Towing and Payload related

I like the ride of both the 2500 and the 3500 but the 2500 was better for me. The big thing for me was the shifting of the Aisen and the fact there are no tunes for it, If I could have found an SO 3500 with what I wanted on it I would have bought it instead of the 2500. I usually end replacing the suspension with Carli anyway. For what it's worth, I seldom tow.

All I tow is a 10k dump thats had up to 7k total behind the 2500. I had appx 1.25" of rake left from fender lip to axle center. I know this is small potatoes but its a point of reference. Rides always good. The exhaust brake plus tow haul makes me giggle while coming to a stop. Who needs brakes, I got a RAM CTD!

The exhaust brake is just, well, makes me really warm and fuzzy

My 3500 6.4 crew 8ft bed rides better then I expected empty. My friends 16 2500 rides like ****. I guess I got lucky I wasn’t looking for a 3500 but I got a better price on it then a 2500.

Idk what one you are looking at by my 2019 2500 has a 19k tow rating i have a 14k 5th wheel camper it pulls like a dream

That's great to hear. I'm pricing out a 2500 Limited CC SB CTD. How is your truck configured? The website shows mixed info on tow capacities, so maybe i'm just overthinking it. Appreciate the response.
