'22 and Cummins rear axle / ratio ...did FCA move off 3.42?

Staying in 5th is the same thing as having 4.10s so why does that matter We have lots of 50-55mph limit highways here

3.73 is a good all around ratio for a Cummins. My 3rd Gen had 3.73s. I put 37s on both it and my 2020. The tires actually make my ratio similar to 3.42 now. I will probably end up with 4.10s.

agree. I might increase my tire size just to get my 4.10 ratio down a bit. The HO engine is not lacking for power, I would trade some of the low end to reduce my highway RPMs.

i like 1/2 decent millage when unloaded and i still can run 6th towing…..

In tow haul with 3.73's it shifts into 6th at 65 mph stock, 67 with 35's.
