21 Ram emissions issues?

Ok so here’s the deal
I have a 21 Ram 3500 HD, i bought it used from a dealer in nor cal, the truck was originally from Utah. My DPF screen is always at 0 and I have never seen a regen. I have about 45k miles on it. After having over a year, I went to get it smogged (because I’m a prisoner in Commiefornia) the dealership did the y43 recall before I took it in. My monitors had to reset however after 300+ miles my o2 htr monitor and the hdr catalyst monitor have still not reset. I’m starting to think I have an issue but I don’t know what I should do. Smog guy tells me drive more, dealershit is just that and hasn’t returned my calls.

Anyone have any ideas?

Drive more some guys have reported slightly over 1000miles before they could get them to reset


Side note, my DPF gauge moved 3 times on my 19 while i had the DPF it does not indicate an issue it just means things are good and you are not soot loading the DPF

When they completed the Y43 recall, did they upload the latest pcm update as well? It’s required as part of the process.

Right on, seems to be the easiest thing to do at the moment.
 
I am having the same issue with my 2020 3500 with SCR/NOX monitor not ready. but I have owned the truck for 1.5 years and 150000 miles. I have a dealer appt. next week.

Everyone just keeps telling me to drive it more… highway speeds for 45mins or so…
So ima try this weekend and see what happens.

You need to do more stop and go type driving to set them faster. It will take forever to reset with highway constant speed.

The dealership says run 45mins at highway speeds… also your link says 2 regen cycles, what if my truck never regens? It hasn’t done it since Iv owned it, that I know of.
 
Does it not show a dash light or anything?
Because Iv never had a single light or indicator come on.

It will only show something if you are displaying the DPF gauge on the dash when it regens.

I heard that, so lately I have had that display up but I haven’t seen it do anything yet. Only about the last 2 weeks tho. 2 monitors still are not set.
 
Update to my issue. This weekend towing the trailer home after watching the DPF gauge the whole trip and never regening, check engine light and a service DEF system see dealer. Pulled a code p1c54 scr/nox missing. TSB# 18-102-22 Rev A applies. We will see what the dealer says Wednesday. I guess there was an issue that was preventing the monitor from setting.
 
Update, after 1600 miles and a 600 mile road trip everything reset, was able to get it smogged and passed. Crazy
