I am in the market for a wheel/tire set up and I have researched this forum as well as others for a while and still have not been able to come up with a clear answer. I have a '21 2500 with the Cummins in it and the off-road package which I believe sits 1 inch higher then the trucks without the package. I do not want to put a leveling kit in this truck and I also would really love to only have to do minor plastic trimming. I am looking to buy some 20x10 rims with a -19 offset and I would like to wrap them in 33x12.5's. Do you think this is going to rub?? I know if I go to 305/55/20's I will have a better chance of them clearing but there is many less tire options and the price goes up with this size. What're your thoughts? I feel that the 12.5 wides will clear but I would hate to spend this kind of money and be wrong!

Based on the comments from those who've gone with that exact same combo, it looks like it'll come down to your specific unit and which tires you go with. Some report rub at full lock, others state none. https://www.customwheeloffset.com/w...width_from=10.0&year=2021&wheel_offset_to=-19

But as to your thought about the off-road package, as far as I understand that package includes different shocks, but the springs are the same, so you would not be sitting 1" taller than those without the OR package.

I don't think it will work or perform good. I haven't noticed the off road package sit any higher at all they sit the same as my 19 with regular suspension. That wheel set up you want is wide and on top of that the high negative offset is going to really push it out. After my last truck I stick with positive offsets even if you clear I guarantee when turned and suspension in stock travel your going to hit somewhere .

I have seen people claim that the offroad package sits higher but have Never seen evidence to back that up. Pretty sure it's just shocks.
Also a 33 on a 20" wheel is probably going to ride like crap so keep that in mind. Not much rubber there. I know you are going for a "look" but you may not be happy with the ride

Here is the info on tire fitment... (May not cover 33's since they are smaller then stock?)
